Hello Native AI is the team behind Hotel Native. We operate KC Hotel San Jose — a 60-room boutique in Costa Rica — and built the platform because every other PMS made our team's life harder, not easier.
Why Hotel Native exists.
We bought KC Hotel San Jose in 2024. It was running on a combination of Cloudbeds, SiteMinder, PriceLabs, SimpleBooking, a WordPress site, and three Excel spreadsheets that nobody fully understood. Reception spent 40% of their time reconciling numbers between tools. The night auditor worked until 2am every morning. Booking.com showed rates that didn't match the PMS. Overbookings happened every two weeks.
We looked for a PMS that would fix it. Every big name — Mews, Opera Cloud, Cloudbeds — was either too expensive for a 60-room hotel, missing critical features, or so locked-in to their way of thinking that simple changes (like respecting manual rate overrides) required professional services engagements. The "AI-native" players were mostly short-term-rental products that didn't speak hotel.
So we built Hotel Native. Not because we wanted to become a software company, but because we needed the product to run our own hotel without losing money. Everything in Hotel Native shipped because KC Hotel, Mikado Natural Lodge, or Seataya Luxury Villas needed it. No feature exists because a vendor analyst said boutique hotels want it.
What we believe.
- Independent hotels deserve enterprise-grade AI. The Marriotts of the world have 40-person revenue teams. A 60-room boutique can't hire that. ALMA levels the field.
- A PMS should run the hotel, not narrate it. Storing data isn't enough. The system needs to take real actions.
- Hoteliers should never fight their software. Manual overrides are respected. Guardrails exist so the AI never surprises you. Every action is auditable.
- LATAM-first, not afterthought. ICT Costa Rica compliance, WhatsApp Business, Spanish everywhere — day one, not "on the roadmap."
- Transparent pricing. One price per property. No per-user fees, no setup cost, no enterprise sales games. The same rate KC Hotel pays is the rate you pay.
The team.
Hotel Native is built by Hello Native AI — a small engineering team split between Costa Rica and remote. We operate three hotels directly and serve several more on the platform. We don't have a sales team. Our GMs and operators answer every demo request personally.
